According to the Torah: how to know a true a false prophet?


In the Torah, there are many stories speaking of false prophets who appear in the world, God has shown us how to know the true prophet from a false, this small study of some passages in the Bible proves the truthfulness of the message of Prophet Muhammad pbuh.





The Bible says that a prophet invited to worship another God than God the creator is a false prophet and that whatever his miracles:

Deuteronomy 13

If there arise among you a prophet or a dreamer you a sign or a wonder, 13.2 and there is the sign or the wonder which he spoke to you, saying, Let us go after d other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them! 13.3 Thou shalt not hearken to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for it is the LORD your God, who puts you to the test to find out if you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

According to this text the prophet who will make predictions come true and, if the prophet called to worship other gods that prophet is a liar and this is a test of God, indeed the Antichrist will come out at the end of time will be miracles but he will claim divinity for it is a false prophet.



Note: the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) invited to the pure monotheism.

NB2: if one refers to this passage and assuming (as claimed by theologians) that Jesus (pbuh) would have invited people to worship the Trinity and Jesus then according to this transition will not be a true prophet what is wrong, but the truth is that Jesus invited the pure monotheism, his teachings were transformed thereafter.



According to the Bible a prophet who makes predictions and invited to worship only God is a true prophet if these predictions come true:



Deutereunome18:

Perhaps thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken?
18.22 When a prophet speaks it will not happen and will not happen, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken. It presumptuously that the prophet has spoken not be afraid of him.

This proves conclusively that the Prophet Muhammad is a true prophet of God, indeed the prophet Mohammed made dozens of predictions that are made thereafter click here for some, and several miracles.

Another passage of the Bible holds that evidence, it was with the release of false prophets and the false prophet in the time of Jeremiah hanania:

 And the Lord said to me: This is the lie that prophesy in my name the prophets; I have not sent them, I have given them to order, I have spoken to them; This false vision, vain predictions, and the deceit of their heart, they prophesy unto you.
14.15 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, I did not send, that say: There will be in this country neither sword nor famine those prophets will perish by the sword and by famine.



Jeremiah said this in a speech at hanania the false prophet:

 The prophets that have been before me and before thee, from of old prophesied against many countries and great kingdoms, of war, misery and pestilence;
28.9 if a prophet prophesies but peace is through doing what he prophesies he will be recognized as truly sent by the Lord.
